FEI World Cup™ Finals are Important to Riders All Around the World

Olympic Medalists and Riders Trying to Qualify for the First Time All Agree

As the world’s most important annual individual championship, the FEI World Cup™ Finals are an important goal for virtually every rider – whether seasoned veterans with Olympic medals or riders looking to qualify for the first time.

The 2022 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final in Leipzig, Germany, is just two months away, and that will start the one-year countdown for the Finals’ to return to Omaha, April 4-8, 2023.

The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League (NAL) held six of its eight league events in the fall and winning one of those events was U.S. superstar Kent Farrington. Farrington is a two-time Olympian with a team Silver Medal from the 2016 Games in Rio. In his illustrious career, Farrington has been the number one ranked rider in the world (holding that ranking for over a year!) and has won some of the sport’s most prestigious events, including Aachen, Geneva and the World Top Ten Final twice.

After winning the World Cup event at the National Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky last fall, Farrington made it clear that the World Cup Final is of great significance.

The World Cup Final is also of great significance to riders looking to qualify for the first time – riders like Rowan Willis of Australia. Willis is currently ranked fourth in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League (NAL) standings and there is a strong likelihood that he’ll qualify for what will be his first Final ever this April at Leipzig. That is something he’d like very much!

Get ready for April 4-8, 2023 when the FEI World Cup™ Finals return to Omaha! In addition to the Finals for Jumping, the World Cup’s return to the CHI Health Center Omaha will also host the Finals for Dressage and Vaulting, marking the first time ever that the FEI Vaulting World Cup™ Finals are being held in North America!

I invite all of you to make your plans now to be in Omaha when the Finals return in April, 2023. The best way for you to reserve your spot and assure yourself the best experience possible is to join Omaha’s World Cup Club.
